3 - Volunteer Awards - Food Bank was
proud to be able to nominate local grade six
student Rebecca Feindel-Sherry for annual
youth volunteer awards and was almost as
thrilled as she was to see her win.
7 - Ladies Night Car Care Clinic -
McNeill's Shell hosted a wonderful workshop
at their garage in Elmsdale, with former
racing car driver Kelly Williams providing
important information for proper car
maintenance & repair.
enjoyed refreshments, loot bags, free
product & door prizes all at no cost, but a
voluntary collection was taken for Food
Bank; thanks to all who helped out!

May 18 - 'Food for Fines' - the Elmsdale
Branch of the Colchester & Region Library
system will be accepting donations of
non-perishable food items for Caring &
Sharing Food Bank, applied against your
library fines. For EACH item, you will
have your fines reduced by $2.00, up to a
MAXIMUM credit of $16.00. Note: This

Business Park offered a Pfaff Serger
class from 10am to 4:00pm;
a fun-filled, hands-on event which
will take your creativity to a whole new
level. Spaces are limited so please
book ahead. There is no fee, but a
donation to the local Foodbank would be

performed two shows of the musical
CLOWNS for students, parents and
guests. Admission was food or cash
donations for Caring & Sharing.
The students collected approximately

Bank' campaign, offering at the cash

items popular with families, making it

12 - December 15 - the 'Mitten Tree' an
annual collection of handmade mittens, hats,
scarves, socks & gloves is now under way at
the Out Patient Lab on the ground floor of
the Lloyd Matheson Centre in the Elmsdale
Business Park. Donations will be
distributed among four local charities,
including Caring & Sharing. Any
